With cocktails to die for and a fresh, unique venue – our restaurant is sure to excite. The floor to ceiling Albury-inspired mural painted by an amazing local artist pays homage to everything Albury-Wodonga; from Monument Hill to the Hume Dam wall and the Bethanga Bridge to the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.
Open since December 2019, 2640 Restaurant and Bar has been offering a relaxed dining experience with fantastic local produce, outdoor dining and funky tapas bar. The menu from our chef Andy Milton includes fresh meals, flavoursome coffee courtesy of Honeybird in Mount Beauty and our very own specialised wine range.
MEET OUR CHEF
For Riverina-raised chef Andy Milton, eating out should be an escape.
The former Yerong Creek boy liked nothing more than putting together dinner for his family or making pancakes on weekends. Milton’s dad worked on properties around the district and was often supplied with farm-fresh produce like lamb.
The co-owner and executive chef here at 2640 Restaurant and Bar wants people to feel at home – but away too – in this relaxed casual dining restaurant space. As a nod to great local produce, Andrew has developed his own menu – comprising of Modern Australian cuisine.
